This incredible stone is a 5.15 carat oval garnet from the Umba Valley in Tanzania and was sourced and cut by master lapidary Glenn Preus. Garnets from this region of Africa have intense natural colors and extremely high clarity. When Glenn showed the stone to me I fell in love with it, and knew it had to be set in 22k gold.
