Ancient Greek Coin Pendant

Ancient Greek coin, 4th Century B.C., the nymph Larissa, representing the capital of Thessaly. The reverse has a horse crouching in preparation to roll. The coin, which was circulated and is ancient, is not perfectly round, so the added 18k bezel follows the organic shape of the coin.

Thessaly was known as Aeolia in the ancient world.
