Gold Wire Collar Torque Necklace
Our latest handmade gold collar is a hybrid, combining the sleek on-trend look of a torque with the ease around the neck of a chain. The hook closure is convenient and easy to clasp and the collar sits so nicely on the neck. Overall it is much more versatile than a full wire collar because it lays perfectly, but can also be adjusted by removing links if necessary. This one is thicker than most at 3mm, and has a nice length of 16.25 inches. Pendants hang beautifully from it, but it is also a great stand alone look.
gold wire is 3mm thick and hand fabricated
Made in 14k for strength. Burnished with 24k.
Chain is antique Russian, circa 1900, repurposed from a bracelet with Faberge eggs, which I had sold separately. It’s a beautifully made intricate link.
